Meet our Founders

Be Recruitment was founded in 2018 by Jenny Rosser and Zena Clark, with the intent to create a new breed of recruitment agency for the Social Care Sector. At the core of this oﬀering was a dedication to providing high touch, exceptional services that reﬂect their shared values of integrity, passion and genuine care for their clients & candidates.

While this was the oﬃcial starting point for our business, the Be story actually begins much earlier than that. Jenny & Zena started their recruitment careers in 2000, working for small boutique recruiters working in specialist sectors and priding themselves on creating long-standing relationships with Clients and Candidates. As their careers evolved, they found themselves as Directors in Global Organisations and like millions of other parents before them, they were caught juggling careers and family routine. More senior roles ultimately meant more travel and time away from the family and they thought there must be a better way…

Recruitment had changed during this time and the Jenny and Zena saw an opportunity to launch an aﬀordable but high quality oﬀering for a sector that was going through an enormous amount of change. So Be Recruitment was formed and we have since redeﬁned what it is to be a specialist recruiter for the Health and Social Care sector.

We genuinely and sincerely care about seeing our clients and candidates achieve their goals – when they win, we feel it too. We speak with clarity and are refreshingly honest. We are willing to have tough conversations when needed because we care. We are not afraid of a challenge. Where others may give up, we persist until the job is done. We thrive on creating and nurturing long-term relationships with our clients and candidates and deliver a great service at exceptional value.
