The Opportunity

Reporting to the CEO and leading a team of approximately staff across tenancy management and asset services, the Housing Services Manager plays a critical role in linking strategy with delivery.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on operational excellence, strategic influence, and driving social impact.

Key focus areas:

  • Lead the tenancy and asset management teams to deliver high-quality, compliant, and sustainable services.

  • Partner with the CEO and Executive Team to implement Metro’s strategic plan and business objectives.

  • Drive performance, innovation, and continuous improvement across operations.

  • Ensure compliance with the National Regulatory System for Community Housing (NRSCH) and relevant legislation.

  • Strengthen partnerships with government, support agencies, and community stakeholders.

About You

You’re a confident and collaborative leader who can turn strategy into action. You’ll bring:

  • Senior management experience in social or community housing, property, or a related sector.

  • Knowledge of tenancy law, NRSCH compliance, and WHS obligations.

  • A proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and foster accountability and engagement.

  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and KPIs.

  • Exceptional communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Property, or Social Science.
